Calling all locavore’s

HAPPY FRIDAY!

101_3200

I am working on the next issue and I am needing people who live a green life.

Do you live a green life?

What makes your house GREEN?

Do you only buy local ingredients?

In case you didn’t know a “Localvore” is as follows (wikipedia): The food may be grown in home gardens or grown by local commercial groups interested in keeping the environment as clean as possible and selling food close to where it is grown. One often cited, but not universal, definition of “local” food is food grown within 100 miles of its point of purchase or consumption.

What are your favorite local ingredients, markets, wares?

What made you decide to become a locavore?

What is your favorite recipe for using local ingredients?

I would love to hear from all of you and of course the answers with names unless you request that you don’t want your name printed will be in the next issue.

If you would like to leave a comment anonymously please do so and tell me you would like to be anonymous.

I can’t wait to hear from you. Have a great Friday!

  1. I’ve recently switched my food blog over to be self-hosted which I hope will make it more user-friendly in the future. As a result, if you were following Can’t Stay Out of the Kitchen via email, WordPress, or using RSS feeds through Google Reader or some other way, you are no longer subscribed. If you wish to continue receiving future posts from my blog you will need to re-subscribe. Sorry for the inconvenience, Teresa.
